WHAT IS GED?
GED is a Management Company specializing in golf development projects. Organized in 1994, continues to be available to serve your construction needs today. After many years of experience in the construction industry GED can offer expertise to Architects, Contractors, Developers and Project owners. Our object is to bring knowledge, skills and the ability to get the job done. We provide services in Architectural design, Construction management, Irrigation design, Feature shaping and golf course Grow-In.
WHAT DOES GED DO?
GED ENTERPRISES was established to serve as an Independent Contractor for all types of projects. We will assist in planning and completing a wide range of projects from small (remodeling, cart paths, irrigation, etc) to large top of the line Resorts and Developments.
FOR THE ARCHITECT:
Take your plans and directions to the contractor. Be your "on site" representative for hands on quality control. Can read "Hand Waves".
FOR THE CONTRACTOR:
Direct all facets of construction. Excellent in teaching construction standards and methods. Total project management and organizing. Keep your "Ducks in a Row".
FOR THE OWNER/DEVELOPER:

First: We can manage the total golf construction project without a general contractor. This is what we call our 'Cost + Simple Fee Plan'. You simply pay the costs and a small fee. The owner/developer becomes the general contractor and we manage all construction planning, budgets and schedules including overseeing all daily on site construction operations. This can create a huge savings in construction costs, which is assumed by the owner/developer.

Second: We can be retained by the owner/developer to oversee all facets of the construction by the general contractor for the owner/developer.

We will then become an on site inspector for quality control.

Oversee all budget and construction schedules.
Assure all directions, conditions, standards and agreements are met by the contractor thru daily and timely inspections and reports. Be your " Watch Dog".

ABOUT GED:
GED in person is Glen Doutrich. He started working on golf courses in Sarasota, Florida in the early 70's. After a gratifying and challenging career thru the 80's and 90's succeeded to presently manage and operate GED Enterprises as an independent contractor. His work took him from the sandy soils of the southeast, thru the mud and clay of the mid- west, to limestone rocks in Texas, on mountain slopes of Colorado, to deserts in the southwest and on volcanic lava in Hawaii, accomplishing an outstanding track record of success stories.

Total construction management for the construction of an 18 hole Championship Golf Course, on the island of Rota. Over seeing all phases of construction.
INCLUDING: Clearing, Earthmoving, Drainages, Concrete Cart Paths, Irrigation System Pumping Station and Wet Well, Tee, Green and Bunker Construction, Finish Grading and Grassing. A total project.
